This page explains what personal information Peppy Pet Plant collects through this website and why.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may receive your email address, first name, preferred Peppy colour, broadband provider, order/contact details, cancellation or support messages, and information needed to fulfil an order.

2. Why we use it

to process and fulfil orders and pre-orders;
to provide customer service, returns and refunds;
to manage Peppy Early Access and launch updates where you have asked to receive them;
to understand product compatibility and improve Peppy;
to comply with accounting, tax, consumer-protection and other legal obligations.

3. Service providers

We use service providers where necessary to operate the site and business. These can include Stripe for payment processing and Netlify for website hosting/forms. The website also uses Google-hosted fonts and may display Google Drive embedded media; those providers may receive technical information such as your IP address when their resources load. Their own privacy terms apply to their processing.

4. Marketing

If you sign up for Peppy Early Access or otherwise agree to receive Peppy updates, we use your contact details for those updates. You can ask us to stop marketing messages at any time by using any unsubscribe option provided or emailing us.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share personal data only where needed with service providers, delivery/payment partners, professional advisers, or where required by law.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legal, accounting, dispute-resolution and consumer-service requirements.

7. Your rights

Depending on applicable data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent. You may also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures and reputable service providers to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
